Hi! I’m Meghan DeMouth Mayfield, an abstract artist and a dabbler in all things design and craft related.

My first memory of an art museum was seeing Mary Cassatt—I find that when impressionism is your first love, abstraction becomes inevitable. Now, it’s the abstract that pulls me: to the artist’s bend, to myself, to awe for this earth, to awe for everything.

If you embrace abstraction, art is everywhere.

Now for the less abstract: I live and work in Nashville; I’m a New England transplant. I went to school in Boston, but not for this. My sister and I are incredible at Pictionary.
